  • Participation in all phases, from schematic design to completion of design development, submission of construction documents/building permits and construction administration

  • Apply and analyze advanced architectural concepts and designs

  • Review drawings and designs to ensure compliance with established specifications, standards and codes

  • Monitor budgets and timelines and maintain project documentation

  • Prepares reports and specifications as requested

  • Maintain positive working relationships with clients, external consultants and technical staff

  • Supervision of technical staff and proofreading the work of others may be required


  • Exemplary in building codes, understanding different product types and implementing codes to determine building construction

  • Strong start-to-finish construction drawing production skills required

  • Strong skills and talent in Revit/BIMAutoCAD, Adobe Design Suite

  • Work experience in the construction phases of projects

  • Motivated; ability to work independently and in a team to coordinate with other design professionals

  • Excellent problem solver and independent thinker with good listening skills and strong following

  • Excellent graphic, communication, organizational and collaborative skills

  • Able to provide effective and positive direction and lead architectural staff


  • 2+ years of experience, with at least 1 year as post captain required

  • Graduated from a NAAB-accredited school of architecture 4 or 5 years

  • Commitment to their own professional growth; preferable to obtaining an architect’s license

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
