RINKA is a design collective specializing in creative problem solving and creating innovative places to create meaningful experiences for people. We maintain a large-scale architectural practice that connects inspiring designs with practical and functional solutions. Working together to ensure success, our team builds long-term relationships with progressive and visionary clients.

Our design approach has fostered deep relationships with incredible clients in Fort Lauderdale, and we are looking to expand our office in Florida. This unique position will also collaborate with our Milwaukee office on other projects across the country.

As an interior designer | FF&E Designer

You have a boundless passion for creating stunning spaces and expressing your design ideas. Qualified candidates must have strong design skills, solid technical knowledge and a passion for working closely with customers, manufacturers, suppliers and installers. Ideal candidates will have experience in all phases of interior design and South Florida FF&E sourcing/selection experience.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • At least one to three years of post-graduate work experience
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with clients/consultants/contractors and team members
  • Understanding of architectural technology and production documentation for projects of various sizes and complexities
  • Strong management and mentoring skills
  • Understanding of base code / regulatory requirements
  • A basic understanding of project fee structures and personnel management is preferred
  • Solid knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of other modeling and rendering programs (SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Lumion, etc.) required
  • Strong design and visualization skills
  • Prior experience on all phases of a project, including construction documentation and construction administration
  • Experience in FF&E sourcing and building relationships with manufacturers
  • Strive to push boundaries and develop innovative design solutions
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, collaborate in large teams and meet deadlines well
  • Registered or in the process of registering preferred
