What do you want to know

We are an award-winning residential design/build company working in Portland, Maine and its surrounding communities. We unite beautiful design with exceptional environmental performance and state-of-the-art construction, so that every home we build or renovate is an enduring source of comfort and inspiration.

We do things differently

For starters, we are majority owned and managed by women. While we admire people with crazy skills, we don’t hire just for their skills. We have a diverse, respectful, and positive work culture — and a fantastic team — and we’re looking for people who truly understand its value and want to be part of it.

We are committed to helping the construction industry adopt more environmentally friendly practices. We focus on high performance construction and carbon reduction. We are all into building science and strive to use optimal techniques and materials. We are always learning. You will be too.
