Users now have the option to change the direction in which sections are displayed in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016.
In the video tutorial above, we will explain how to do this.
To summarize the steps, users should first go to their settings tab in their tool space, scroll to the “Section View” parameter, and expand “Section View Styles”. In the overview video above, we rename the “road section style” to “left to right”.
Users can copy this style and create a new one called “Right to Left”. Users can change the functionality by opening the “Section View Style” window, clicking the “Graphics” tab, and toggling the new “Section View Direction” to “Right to Left”.
In the example of the video, we copy the existing section, apply the new style, and have flipped the section the other way around.
