Text Layout Framework Examples

I’m doing a couple presentations today on the new Text Layout Framework for Flash Player 10. I thought I’d put the source of my presentation up here in case anyone else is looking into the new text features. I’m going to try to record my presentation on this later tonight so you guys could watch it too.

I can’t distribute some of the embedded fonts I used for this project, so some of the examples will probably break (like the Ligatures). Also, the code is kind of a mess as it’s meant more for live demonstration than actual project work.

Anyway, I’m sure this will help someone, somewhere, sometime down the road Flash Player 10 is required and this example will probably look different if you don’t have the font “Adobe Caslon Pro”.
