Training in Chicago!

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 | announcements

I’m happy to get back on the training circuit and help teach people how to get rolling with Papervision3D. My first stop this year is in Chicago. We’ll spend 2 full days covering all the topics you need to know to build your own project (I’ll even explain in detail many of the examples here on pv3d.org).

So if you need to learn (or if you just want to support pv3d.org :) ) then sign-up and I’ll see you in Chicago!

@kyelmin - Only basic knowledge of ActionScript 3 is required. The course is targeted towards Papervision3D beginners. We'll cover all the basics and go as far as we can.

    Hey...
I plan to register for the chicago pv3d session, but I am not sure what skill level is required to attend.
    what say you?

  • John Lindquist

@JohnD. - I don't, but I'll post announcements of future classes as soon as I have more information.

Do you happen to have a schedule of the classes you will be giving stateside this year. I wanna go to this one but may not be able to. Would be interested to know when the next one is and where...

  • ho that sucks.. i wish i was in chicago :(
That course out line looks really good :).
Is there a book that we can go through for PV3D?

  • John Lindquist

These trainings are very different from max presentations. Max presentations last about 50 minutes in front of hundreds of people. This is a specialized 2-day course for about 40 students.
